We are all back in Australia now but what an amazing experience we have had. Our main task was to run renewable educational programs and to deliver medical and school supplies but we experienced so much more. Looking back through all our photos it’s hard to believe it was just ten days. We have seen some spectacular scenery and met many wonderful people. We enjoyed working as a team and learned lots from each other as well as from the Fijians.
Many villages, schools and medical centres have no electricity or a very limited supply via petrol or diesel. The fuel is expensive and difficult to transport. Fijian Villages have a plentiful supply of sunlight and most are near rivers and streams. Renewable energy has got to be the best solution for these remote locations. Over the next few years we hope to run more educational programs in schools and villages. If you or your school would like to be involved please contact us via email. We are hoping to run a number of trips next year. The experience is life changing!
