Today we got up at 6:30, had our washy, washy, packed our bags and had breakfast. For breakfast we had either tea, coffee or hot chocolate with porridge, cornflakes and muesli. We then had an omelette, with roti’s. After breakfast, we then set off for our 500m climb to Namche Bazar. Following the Dudh Kosi (Milk River), we crossed three swinging bridges one of which is the highest in the Sagamartha National Park. We climbed many stairs and had many breaks to acclimatise to the altitude. At one stop, we got to see the peak of Mt Everest through the trees. We then arrived at our campsite for the next two nights after just under four hours of climbing. When we got to camp there was already another group from Braemar College which is north of Melbourne. We sat down and had lunch which consisted of yummy veggie, pasta soup, spag, samosas, cabbage with carrot and had a cup of hot mango cordial. After lunch, we got let loose, to roam around the town and hack cafés Wi-Fi. We walked back to camp for afternoon tea with washy, washy water to follow. After afternoon tea, we just relaxed and caught up with everyone in Australia. Then came time for dinner where we had: onion soup, chicken curry, fried rice, veggies, pokhara and for dessert a slice of apple. After dinner, we chilled before heading to bed, this included playing cards and Black Magic.
