It was a lazy Friday with strong winds keeping me land locked today... And probably tomorrow too. With the white caps stretched across Hope Channel the cold southerly steered me to Bev and John's place for several cuppa's and more than one piece of cake. On the way I took a moment to check out the flowering wattle (yellow) and smell the crushed leaves of the boronia (pink). I borrowed a book by Michael Veitch about his travels to Bass Strait islands and that'll have to keep me occupied until this wind dies away. There could be much worse places to be stranded though!
