Where? Where? Wedgie!

Launching in 2018

How many are there? Primary and High Schools can be part of learning about wedge-tailed eagles and become citizen scientists.

Antarctic Experience

Icy careers in the spotlight

The Antarctic Experience takes students behind the scenes at the Australian Antarctic Division, IMAS and CSIRO in Tasmania before flying them over Antarctica itself. We will be running the next program in Novenber 2018 for high school and college students.

Fiji Power 2017

Electrifying High School Students

The Fiji Power 2017 competition winners were Gabby and Ella from Taroona High School in Tasmania. They went to Fiji in October to help run a renewable energy program in Fijian Villages, schools and medical centres along with the winning teacher Elizabeth White from St Clare's College in the ACT and her two "runner up" students Alex and Tia.

Coast Watchers

Adventures in marine litter

Another extreme beach cleanup in South West Tassie with 'The Cleanup' team will be reported here from 1st March 2018. Schools can organise their own coastal or river cleanup and share their rubbish with us too!

Claws On The Line

Science Excursions for NW Tassie

North West Tasmanian schools have been getting involved in field trips to survey for the elusive Central North Burrowing Crayfish. Dive into a muddy swamp with us and see what we've been finding.

Adventure + Learning

Online and on ground programs

We love science and environmental education so much that we share it with classrooms everywhere... like you’ve never experienced it before. Students engage with researchers and adventurers through Australian Curriculum aligned online lessons. Some will even end up on the ground in Fiji, flying over Antarctica or stomping around the bush in Tasmania.
