Andrew here, welcome to the introduction page for the upcoming expedition. I'll be heading out with James Pay from UTAS to search for his tagged eagles and learn how to spot them in the field from the 1st-27th May. Students and teachers can follow our journey around Tasmania each day with videos, photos and reports. You can see some of the eagles we're searching for under the EXPERTS tab up on the main menu. Will we find Winifred and Eric???
Between now and the start of the expedition students and teachers can say hello and introduce themselves on the discussion board. We keep a very close eye on the threads to make sure everyone is playing by the rules- staying on topic, being helpful and not hurtful, asking sensible questions, and sticking to general good netiquette. We will delete off topic or silly posts to keep it easy for everyone to read and we sometimes have to delete students accounts without warning. Don't be THAT student!
If you have a class photo that you'd like to add to the album for Day 0, send it to andrew@expeditionclass.com and I'll pop it in.
If you want to sign up to join the wedgie survey on 25th, 26th and/or 27th May, go to the NatureTrackers website, register and select a spot to do your survey. It is a different website and log in because it is open to everyone and not just students.
