We’ll let the video do most of the talking today because it’s midnight and we have to travel all the way to the other side of Tassie tomorrow. One of the threats to eagles in the environment is colliding with wind turbines. We visit the Woolworth Wind Farms operation at Musselroe Bay to see what’s going on.
We’ve explored a few of the threats to eagles so far and today we had a chance to get more information about wind turbines from the Musselroe Bay operation. I didn’t show it in the video but we also had a workshop that was open to the public at the end of the day. So thanks to Chris and Bob for opening the gates and letting us in.
Today’s t-shirt winner is Happybee for encouraging others and contributing to conversations.
Can you suggest a crazy and creative way to prevent birds colliding with wind turbines?
