Hello Tree House Challenge students, and welcome to this pre-expedition introduction. Great to have you here. We're heading off for the real thing very soon. Over the coming four weeks we will explore dry eucalytus, wet eucalyptus and temperate rainforests in different parts of Tasmania. The day 1 report will go live Monday evening, 7th August 2017. Here's a little video explaining some of the equipment we'll be taking. Each day I'll try to post a new video as well as the photos and written report. There's usually more than one page of reports here. To see the next page you can click on the grey dot below the video or the arrows in the menu just above this.

Tree House Challenge
Before we climb trees...
The team joining for the first day are Yoav, Dr Sue (if her head cold improves), Dr Alastair and Saul. Saul is from Rosny College (TAS) and will be making a student documentary of the expedition so you'll hear about him at different times over the four weeks.
All students and teachers are welcome and encouraged to post comments and questions on the discussion boards (says CONNECT if you're not signed into the website and says DISCUSS if you are signed in). A new discussion starts each day during the expedition but you can still browse previous days and add more to those as well. There is a moderator (me) who will ruthlessly and without explanation delete all posts that stray off topic, use bullying or rude language or are generally not adding to the learning and sharing we're here for. We'll choose 1 student/teacher post per day to win a t-shirt.
